What I
work on.

My everyday stack, and the areas I keep exploring.

01

I work on C#/.NET services and integrations, including existing SOAP and WCF systems.

C# / ASP.NET CORE / SOAP & WCF
02

I build interfaces with Blazor and JavaScript, working with reusable components and responsive layouts.

BLAZOR / WEBASSEMBLY / JAVASCRIPT / FIGMA
03

SQL Server for application data, Azure for cloud services, and SignalR for real-time updates.

04

I trace bugs through existing code and data flows, then work on migrations and application updates.

LEGACY SYSTEMS / MIGRATION / DEBUGGING
05

I am exploring how agents and tools fit into applications, including permissions and evaluation.

01 / THE PROBLEM

Show the steps.

A result alone hides the work. The trace shows where input is checked, data is read and a response is shaped.

02 / THE APPROACH

Keep the logic separate.

The same request function drives both demos. Rendering and animation consume its result; they do not decide whether the request succeeds.

03 / THE TRADE-OFF

Load only what is needed.

Run the demo locally and load 3D only on request. That keeps it usable without a backend or a powerful graphics chip.

02 / JourneyALWAYS IN PROGRESS

How I got
here.

From an application development apprenticeship to working with .NET.

03 / AboutBEHIND THE CODE
Jan Reist / JJ4Dev

Based in Basel. Working across applications, interfaces and integrations.

I like knowing
why it works.

When something breaks, I want to understand where and why. I follow it through the interface, the backend and the data, then work on the cause. I care about the small details, but also about finishing the job.
